More tobacco farmers are registered in Zimbabwe

    data showed that 2017\/18 tobacco growers registered 98482 people in the tobacco leaf production season, which has increased significantly compared with 72575 people in the last tobacco production season.

    in this regard, Zimbabwe tobacco industry marketing board (TIMB) is one of the latest statistics show that the country in Mashonaland province has the largest number of registered farmers, has reached 36985 people, and a tobacco production season, the region’s registration number is only 26395 people.

    for this reason, analysts pointed out that profitable sales price is the main factor that causes the number of registered growers in the last season.
